On the day
Please make sure your dog has had a walk and chance to relieve itself before their appointment, to ensure their comfort during the groom.
Your appointment
Upon arrival, new customers will be asked to complete a customer registration form for my records (all records are kept confidential).
The first appointment will include a consultation where we will discuss your and your dog’s requirements for grooming. I will have a look at your dog’s coat to confirm grooming methods, whilst also giving a quick health check.
Once everything has been discussed and your dog is settled, I ask that you leave as calmly as possible so your dog doesn’t get over-excited and assume it’s leaving time.
Appointment duration
I operate on an appointment basis, so that every dog has a calm and relaxing experience.
Typically an appointment can last anywhere between 2.5 – 3 hours. I will normally give you a courtesy call 20 mins before the groom is due to complete, to allow enough time for you to return and collect your dog.
Please try to avoid arriving early for collection, as your dog may get over excited and not settle for me to complete their groom.
If you are late for collection (it happens) and the next customer/s arrive, your dog will be placed in a clean and secure area until your arrival.
Appointment review
If there is anything you would like done differently with your dog’s groom, I am always happy to take onboard any comments, preferably at the time. Alternatively, please do let me know at the next groom.
